Submissions should focus on the conference theme and demonstrate the latest technological achievements in oil and gas field exploration, representing cutting-edge advancements and future trends both in China and globally. Papers must be original, unpublished in any academic journals or conferences worldwide, and contain no classified information.
(I) Paper Requirements
All submissions must be provided in Microsoft Word format, with all illustrations additionally submitted as separate vector graphic or high-resolution image files.
1. Paper Abstract: Abstracts must strictly follow the four-element structure (Purpose, Methods, Results, Conclusions). Chinese papers require both Chinese and English abstracts, while English papers need only an English abstract. The Chinese abstract should contain at least 500 characters, and the English abstract no fewer than 500 words.
2. Submission of First Author's Profile: Provide a bilingual (Chinese and English) profile of the first author, including: full name, institutional affiliation, position and professional title, highest degree (with graduation year, awarding institution and major), contact information (address, email, phone number), and current research focus.
3. Originality & Scope Requirements: The conference accepts only original, unpublished manuscripts (no duplicate submissions). Papers must demonstrate foresight, innovation, practical applicability, and academic guidance within oil & gas exploration. Submissions irrelevant to oil and gas exploration will be rejected. Authors must retain copies as submitted papers will not be returned.
4. Manuscript Structure Requirements: Manuscripts must comprise four sections: Introduction (research background and objectives), Methodology (problem-solving approach and techniques), Results and Applications (findings and practical implications), and Conclusions (key insights and definitive conclusions).
5. Plagiarism Check: All submissions will undergo plagiarism screening. Manuscripts with similarity index exceeding 15% will be rejected.
6. Accountability & Review: Authors bear full responsibility for their content. All manuscripts must undergo institutional review prior to submission.
7. Copyright Notice: The conference reserves the right to edit accepted papers to meet publication standards. Copyright of accepted papers will be transferred to the conference organizers upon author authorization.
(II) Paper Selection and Exchange
1. Paper Publication: Papers approved by the Academic Committee will be compiled into the "Proceedings of 2025 China International Oil and Gas Exploration Technology Annual Conference" and officially published by Petroleum Industry Press.
2. Paper Selection: Representative papers will be selected for oral presentations or poster sessions at the conference. Outstanding papers will be recommended for publication in core journals, including Petroleum Exploration and Development, Acta Petrolei Sinica, Petroleum Science, Petroleum Research, Natural Gas Industry, and Oil & Gas Geology.
